Wholesomeness means becoming grounded and aligned with oneโs values, purpose, and peace. Inner peace is at the core of this stillnessโฆโฆin a world full of noise and diverse opinions, directions, activities and destinations.
Wholesomeness entails physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Wholesomeness isn’t perfectionโit’s harmony. However, Self-awareness does play a key role in creating this harmony with oneโs inner self, and a having a sense of purpose.
It entails the practice of consciously understanding your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and motivations. It’s not just knowing what you’re feeling or doing, but โwhyโ.
It’s the inner mirror that lets you see your true self without judgment.
- Recognizing your patterns
What are your habits? Do your habits nourish or deplete you?
Who are your allies? Are your relationships supportive or draining? - Listening inward
โ What are your needs, not just your wants?
โ Are you living authentically, or performing for approval? - Balancing shadow and light
โ Self-awareness help you integrate your flaws, not hide them.
โ Wholesomeness doesn’t mean always being “nice”โit means being real and kind. - Choosing with intention
โ You notice when you’re on autopilot and gently steer yourself back to your values.
Self-awareness allows one to personally audit self, thoughts, relationships, helps one to identify self-sabotaging patterns, identifies loopholes in ones thinking processes, develop insights into personal weaknesses and helps to chart a course to constant reflection, self-development, and re-alignment to oneโs purpose and core values.
This produces a better version of your real self with a road map to fulfilling your purpose.
It also helps you to identify distractions and ignore them and thus enhances focus, which is essential to maintaining inner peace and remaining whole.
Please, take a momentโฆFind a quiet spotโฆPauseโฆโฆ. Reflect on the above stepsโฆ
Pen down your thoughtsโฆ
Decide and develop a road mapโฆ.
Your Truly,
