Showing up

When dawn is dim and hope feels small,
When courage wavers, shadows fall,
Still, one quiet truth lifts upโ€”
The strength it takes in just showing up.

Not every step must lead to fame,
Not every win earns loud acclaim,
But rising when it feels too tough,
There’s power deep in showing up.

No need for perfect lines or grace,
Just heart and hands and steady pace.
A whispered “yes” when times get roughโ€”
Thatโ€™s the soul of showing up.

In lectures, wards, or weary days,
In quiet care or hopeful praise,
We lead, we learn, we love enoughโ€”
And life is changed by showing up.
