Perfection in Purpose- the Seventh month

by Dr Toluwani E. Babalola

With hearts full of gratitude, we lift our eyes to God,
The Author and Finisher of our faith.
Through every sunrise and every storm,
He has been our Keeper, our Strength, and our Guide.

As we look back on the months behind us,
We see more than passing daysโ€”we see His faithfulness.
He carried us through victories that humbled us,
And valleys that strengthened us.
He answered some prayers, delayed others,
Yet in every season, His purpose remained perfect.

We have grown through challenges,
Learned through disappointments,
And discovered that Godโ€™s greatest work
Is often done within us before it is revealed around us.

Now, as we step into this Month of Perfection,
May our eyes be fixed not on flawless living,
But on the God who perfects all that concerns us.
For perfection is not the absence of weakness;
It is the presence of purpose,
Refined through faith, obedience, and love.

The Potter does not discard the clay
Because it has not yet taken shape.
With patient hands, He molds, He presses, He refines,
Until His masterpiece begins to emerge.

So let every challenge become your classroom,
Every delay become your preparation,
Every setback become a stepping stone,
And every prayer become a declaration
That Godโ€™s promises never fail.

Choose growth over comfort.
Choose faith over fear.
Choose obedience over convenience.
For the greatest version of yourself
Is not the one the world applauds,
But the one that reflects Christ.

Walk boldly in your calling.
Speak life where there is doubt.
Serve with humility.
Love without condition.
Forgive without hesitation.
And pursue excellence,
Not for recognition,
But because it glorifies the One who created you.

This month, refuse to settle for yesterdayโ€™s victories.
Stretch beyond your limits.
Rise above your excuses.
Trust Godโ€™s timing.
Embrace His process.
And remember that every step taken in faith
Is a step toward the purpose He designed for you.

May this be the month you grow deeper in character,
Stronger in faith,
Wiser in spirit,
And bolder in purpose.

For true perfection is found
Not in becoming everything you desire,
But in becoming everything God created you to be.

โ€œBut let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.โ€ โ€” James 1:4 (KJV)

May this month be a testimony of Godโ€™s perfecting grace. May He complete every good work He has begun in you, align your steps with His divine purpose, and make your life a reflection of His glory. Amen.

Yours in purpose,

The Elevation Board,

Dr Toluwani Ebun B
